Lehi Rodeo

We went to the Lehi rodeo with the Varney's. It's a family tradition to go. I didn't take a lot of pictures this time. But the kids love going and Cassidy always says that she will grow up be a princess like them.
Here we are at the stock parade. I love this parade short and sweet!!

The night of the rodeo, the kids love to dress up for it. Don't they look so cute.

Camping at Vernon

We love to go camping. It is so fun and I love to get away and be with my family. We try to go as much as we can. AF canyon was still closed so we decided to go to Vernon reservoir. I've never been there before but it was a lot of fun. Trevor's parents camped with us this time. It's always fun to have people with us. We got there a day before Jon and Jone. We took the kids fishing and then just played games at camp.

Then grandpa and grandma showed up the next day and we played and had fun with them. And of course I didn't take any pictures during the day but here we are sitting around the camp fire.

The next day colby brought up their kids (Heather had to work and school) and Mike and Torie came up as well. The kids had a blast playing together.

Cassidys haircut!!

I got the bug where I wanted to cut Cassidy's hair short. I talked her into it and did it as soon as she said ok. I went to a friend and she did awesome job. It was kind of sad cutting her hair short but she looks so darn cute, but now months later, I miss her long hair and can't wait for it to grow out.
Before

During

After

At first she started to cry because she said "I'm no longer a princess. Princess's have long hair not short hair," But after I told her that Tangled has short hair in the end of the movie, she felt better about it. But she still tells me that she is not going to ever cut her hair again

Camping out west

We went out west to go camping in June since AF canyon was still closed. We always go up AF the first part of June but this year there was still tons of snow so we chose to go out west. It was fun and nice to get away for the weekend. During the day it would get really warm and at night it would get pretty cool.
The first day that we got there. We just relaxed and read books and hung around the camp fire.

The next day the kids being cute

then after being cute they wanted to play, so we shot bb guns

then went to Utah lake to cool off

then Trevor's parents came up for the night and we hung around the camp fire and roasted hot dogs and ate grandma's famous camel popcorn.

The next morning we woke up and Trevor, Deegen and Cass went for a 4 wheeler ride while me and TJ stayed back. And of course TJ fell asleep.

After they got back, we had to catch a lizard. Grandma Varney would have been so proud.
