Summer has gone by too fast!!

It's been forever since I have posed anything, I don't even know where to begin. Since the last time that I posted so many things happened. I seems like every weekend we're out playing or doing something fun.

So I guess I'll start with end of April and move forward. Sorry I'm not going to write a lot but will have plenty of pictures to look at.

This year I started canning. It's been a great experince. I have canned 25 jars of tomaoes, 14 jars of slasa and 8 things a fresh rasberry jam.It's been good times.

We bought these PJ's for Cass the other day and she loves them. She thought she was so cute. She kept telling me to take a picture.

Well that is it for the summer so far. I promise I will try and do better so then I wouldn't have such long post.

What we've been up to!

I can't believe March is almost over with. Where does time go? Here's an update on our family. Over the last month, we have had sick kids, my mom sick and me and Trevor being sick. I'm ready for this month to be over with and everyone well again. Both of our kids were diagnosed with RSV which is always fun. It wasn't bad enough to get hospitalized but we lost alot of sleep during it. Then my mom got pneumonia and had to get hospitalized for it. She ended up having to have surgery to get rid of it. That was great fun. She is finally getting better. Then since we took care of the kids of course we got it. I'm almost over mine but Trevor is still not feeling great. It's not fun being sick but at least we all got to share the fun.

Last weekend I was so excited for spring. I thought it was finally here. All day Friday and Saturday we spent outside playing with cousins and watching dad and grandpa fix the sprinklers. Then Monday came and is snowed!! It's not fare I'm ready for spring. I hate cold weather. The kids playing baseball while dad and grandpa are outside. Cass is loving being able to be outside. She is my outdoor child. She would be outside during a snow storm if I let her.

Later that afternoon we went up to grandma Varneys to play with all the cousins. We got sick of watching dad.

I can't believe that was just last weekend. It's snowing right now. How depressing!!!

CHEESE

Cassidy has this new thing of saying cheese when she sees the camera. I'm not sure if her aunt Torie taught her or if she learned it off a backyardians cartoon. Which ever it was, its hilarious!!! But it's hard to take her picture now. Here's a couple of picture I took of her doing this.

Later that night we had pumpkin pie that Trevor made!! Cass just loves the whip cream that you put on the pie and of course dad lets her have just that. She has him wrapped around her little finger!!!

Big Girl Bed

Monday night we put Cassidy in a big girl bed. At first I thought this was a good idea but then 1am came around and she wold not go back to sleep. So finally around 3am we put her in our bed. On Tuesday night we thought we would try it again. She loved going to sleep in it and fell asleep fast but once again 1am came around and she woke up not wanting to go back to sleep in her bed. That time we put her in the swing hoping she would get some sleep. Wrong again she wanted to sleep with us. This went on until Thursday night when we finally thought about putting a pillow in the bed and see if she liked that. It worked!!!! She's back to sleeping though the night again and she's in a big girl bed!!!

I know it has a BYU sticker on it. We borrowed the bed from Torie and Mike said we couldn't take it off. So for now its there until I find something to cover it up without damaging it. Thanks Torie!!
