We went on Colby's turkey hunt. We went up Friday morning. It was a long drive with 2 kids. Cass was ok most of the time, but it was Deeg. He has a hard time sitting for a long time. The drive was about 5 hours and for a 4 year old it seems like forever. He just kept asking "Are we there yet?" or "How much longer?". He loves going camping and he thought it was pretty cool that we were going hunting too. Even though he didn't go during the actual hunt but he walked around in the afternoon and looked for turkeys. So I'm glad that Jone and Heather helped me out with that. They saw several turkeys and deer and Deegen still can't stop talking about it. This was my first turkey hunt and it was a lot different than I thought. But I loved it. I can't wait to go on mine.

Since Colby got his turkey the morning of the opener, we had time to go a couple of places in the afternoon. So we went to hunt for sheds and of course we didn't find any. I swear I'm bad luck when it comes to some things. But it was still fun to walk around the mountain side. Deegen thought it was so awesome. I wish that did find something for him.

Deegen looking around with dad and grandma. I'm so lucky to have them in our life!

Cassidy and Hanks. They are both so cute. We had to keep them out of the sun plus they get kind of heavy caring them all the time. I hope they will grow up and be great friends.

Cass is always trying to put things in her mouth. But she doesn't have any teeth yet. She has some growing up to do if she wants to catch up to Hanks.

After we got done looking for the sheds that weren't there, we went a lake near by. That was fun. The boys threw rocks into it. I guess boys will always be boys.

Grandpa trying to teach Deeg how to skip rocks.

Trevor playing around with Cass. She was smiling and of course I missed it. Oh well I tried.

Deeg after the long day of playing. Trying to not look tried but really is. Sometimes he things he is so old and doesn't need a nap but he's still just my little boy.
Cass really tired and just waiting for me to stop taking pictures so she can take her nap. It was a blast to go on this turkey hunt. I'm glad that I had the chance to go. Thanks!
